Price Protection Policy and Promotions

Price Adjustment Policy

As a sign of our commitment to providing the best service possible, SSENSE offers customers a price protection policy under the following conditions:

  • An item purchased has gone on sale or its price had been reduced within 14 calendar days of having placed the order.
  • The item in question is still available on the SSENSE website in the same style and size purchased.
  • Price adjustments may only be applied once per item.

If these conditions are met, please contact the Customer Care team within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase so that they can refund the difference onto the original method of payment. Failure to submit your request within the above-referenced timeframe will render your request ineligible for refund. 

Exclusion: We are unable to offer price adjustments on items purchased which had become eligible for coupons, as coupons are only applicable on next purchases during their eligible period. Kindly refer to the Promotions and Codes section below for more details.

Price Match Policy

If an item is sold by another online retailer at a lower price, SSENSE will match their price. To know if an item qualifies, please refer to the conditions below:

  • The online retailer must be an authorized retailer
  • The same style, size, colour, material and season of the item must be in stock on the retailer’s website at the time the price match request is made
  • The price to be matched cannot be a sale price, it must be advertised at full price
  • The final checkout price, including shipping fees, taxes and duty fees, must be lower than the final SSENSE checkout price
  • The final price is advertised in the same currency as the price listed on the SSENSE website

If these conditions are met, you may be eligible for a price match. Please contact us and we will be happy to review your request.

Promotions and Codes

SSENSE occasionally offers promotional codes to loyal customers.

When attempting to apply these codes, please note that some conditions apply:

  • Items previously discounted (i.e sale items) may not be eligible for further discount
  • Codes are redeemable online and in-store unless otherwise indicated
  • For orders containing multiple items, the discount provided will be distributed amongst all eligible items
  • Discounted items returned to SSENSE will be refunded in the amount paid and not the original value of the item(s)
  • If a code is invalid or expired, a replacement will not be issued
  • Only one code may be applied per order

SSENSE reserves the right to terminate, change, or modify all promotions and discounts (or otherwise) or extend promotions at any time without giving prior notice to you. Users shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended Terms and Conditions.

 

General Terms and Conditions applicable to promotional codes offered by SSENSE. 

  • SSENSE offers promotional codes that may be applied to selected items on ssense.com, the SSENSE App, and at SSENSE Montréal. These codes are occasionally sent to customers via email and/or communicated on ssense.com.
  • By participating, claimants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Claimants must comply with these Terms and Conditions for a coupon to be valid.
  • The promotional codes have no monetary value and cannot be converted into currency. Promotional codes are redeemable both online and in-store, unless otherwise indicated. Promotional codes are applicable on full price items only and cannot be applied to items which are already discounted.
  • To redeem the coupon code, the claimant types the coupon code into the promotional box in the checkout field of ssense.com and the relevant discount will be automatically deducted from the final price of the qualifying purchase. If the claimant fails to enter the coupon code at the time of purchase as specified, the purchase will not be eligible for the discount. Discounts may not be claimed after confirmation of a claimant's purchase on ssense.com.
  • If an order containing multiple items is placed using a promotional code, the discount will be distributed across each eligible item according to its prorated value. Any returned item(s) purchased using a promotional code, will be refunded at the value of the discount applied to the item(s) in question.
  • The value of a promotional code cannot be applied to an order if that code is inapplicable, invalid, or expired. Under no circumstances will replacement codes be issued.
  • One promotional code can be applied per order.
  • The coupon is not necessarily valid for all periods of the year. There may be periods for which the coupon may not be usable. SSENSE reserves the right to discontinue a coupon at any time.
  • Each coupon is valid for a limited time only. 
  • Coupons cannot be replaced if emails are deleted by the claimant.
  • SSENSE shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered or sustained (even if caused by negligence) as a result of accepting and/or using the coupon, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  • SSENSE accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected email or other communications. SSENSE assumes no responsibility for any failure to receive a claim or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury as a result of technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches. If such problems arise, then SSENSE may modify, cancel, terminate, or suspend the coupon.
  • To the extent permitted by law, these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Quebec and the tribunals and courts of Montreal, Quebec will have exclusive competence in case of dispute. The original English version of these Terms and Conditions has been translated into other languages. The translated version is a courtesy and office translation only and no rights can be derived from the translated version. In the event of a dispute about the contents or interpretation of these terms and conditions or inconsistency or discrepancy between the English version and any other language version of these Terms and Conditions, the English language version to the extent permitted by law shall apply, prevail, and be conclusive.

 

General Terms and Conditions applicable to Private Sales

 

Private Sales are private events only for selected members. Selected members must be signed in to view the offer on the SSENSE website or the SSENSE App.

 

As this is a private event, details must not be shared or advertised in any way, including, but not limited to, on any website, social media, messaging platform, email, word of mouth, etc. SSENSE reserves the rights to suspend accounts and/or void Private Sale transactions violating these Terms and Conditions. This offer can be terminated, changed, or extended at SSENSE's discretion without notice.

 

Additional Terms and Conditions applicable to the online and in-store Private Sale

 

Online Private Sale

 

  • The online Private Sale is only available to eligible customers who are logged in to SSENSE.com, either with the account which received the Private Sale invitation or with the email address used for past transactions.
  • This promotion can only be redeemed online, and within the SSENSE App (latest version). Please note that this promotion is not applicable to purchases made at the SSENSE MONTRÉAL store.
  • This promotion is not applicable to shipping fees.
  • Our online promotions may not follow those that are in the SSENSE MONTRÉAL store. Prices may differ as the Website and store may offer items at different prices or may run different promotional events at different times. Accordingly, prices and promotions offered on this Website may not always apply in the store, and store prices and promotions may not always apply on this Website, unless otherwise stated.

 

In-Store Private Sale

 

  • The in-store Private Sale is only available to eligible customers who received the in-store Private Sale invitation.
  • This promotion can only be redeemed at the SSENSE MONTRÉAL store.

 

Terms applicable to the online and in-store Private Sale

 

  • If you are eligible and subscribe to our newsletter, an email invitation will specify the effective dates of access to the online and in-store Private Sale, and subsequently another email communication will indicate the precise end date and time of these promotions, with at least 48 hours notice.
  • These promotions are only applicable to select merchandise marked “Private Sale” and cannot be used in conjunction with any other item that is already on sale, or any applicable rebate, discount offer, or promotional code.
  • These promotions cannot be applied to past transactions, whether on select merchandise marked “Private Sale” or otherwise.
  • The online and in-store Private Sale can be terminated, changed, or extended at SSENSE's discretion without notice to you.
  • SSENSE reserves the right, at its sole and absolute discretion, to refuse or cancel any order for reasons related to fraud, abuse, or for any other reason, without advance notice.
  • These are exclusive promotions, just for you; details of any online and in-store Private Sale invitations must not be shared or advertised in any way, including, but not limited to, on any website, blog, social media, through messaging application, by email or word of mouth, etc. SSENSE reserves all its rights (including where it is known or suspected you have passed these details on), which may involve suspending your account and/or voiding your transactions for the duration of Private Sale.

General Terms and Conditions applicable to Sales

  • Sales are available to all customers. You can enjoy an additional limited-time discount on specific brands. By participating in these Sales, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. 
  • SSENSE reserves the right to exclude brands and/or certain products from eligible brands from these promotions from time to time. 
  • The list of applicable countries for these promotions is subject to change at SSENSE’s sole discretion.
  • The Sales are live on ssense.com, the SSENSE App, or at SSENSE Montréal.
  • Your discount will automatically be applied at checkout. These promotions are applicable to select regular-priced merchandise and will be deducted from the selling price before taxes. Discount is not applicable to shipping fees.
  • The promotions will end with at least 48 hours’ notice. SSENSE may use reasonable endeavors to notify changes.
  • These promotions are only applicable to select merchandise. These promotions cannot be used with any other applicable rebate, discount offer, or promotional code.
  • These promotions cannot be applied to past transactions. These promotions are no-transferable and nonexchangeable, and no cash alternative is offered.
  • All orders are returnable in line with our returns policy. Discounted items returned to SSENSE will be refunded in the amount paid, and not the original value of the item(s). Shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • These promotions do not include price reductions on shipping fees.
  • SSENSE reserves the right at our sole discretion to revoke, suspend, cancel, extend, or modify the promotions (or otherwise) or amend these promotions and these Terms and Conditions at any time and without giving prior notice to you. Users shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended Terms and Conditions.
